Meet the Tutor: Timothy Williams

Timothy brings more than 30 years of combined teaching, mentoring, and professional experience to mathematics education. He holds advanced degrees from:

  • Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras) — M.Sc. Mathematics
  • Andhra University — M.Tech. Computer Science

Timothy has served as an Adjunct Professor at California State University, East Bay, and has also been a member of the faculty at:

  • DeVry University, Fremont
  • Chabot College, Hayward
  • Pondicherry Engineering College, India

For over 25 years, Timothy has tutored elementary, middle, and high school students worldwide, helping them strengthen foundational skills, overcome academic hesitation, and excel in competitive environments.

He is also an accomplished author. His book on Computer Science, published by McGraw Hill, was written to help students prepare for admission to rigorous master’s programs in both India and the United States. It has sold over 120,000 copies—a testament to his unique ability to explain challenging technical concepts in a manner that is accessible, structured, and deeply engaging to learners of all levels.
